BIG Congratulations to Clifford Ross of Team Eagle who has been chosen as the SMILE Of The Month for January. Here is what Clifford’s General Manager, Mr. Michael Stevens told us when he nominated Cliff for this award;
“We had one of our regular customers come in later in the evening one night to enjoy a late dinner and a cocktail. After taking the initial order and serving the food and cocktail, Cliff began to notice that the patron was displaying characteristics of being a little intoxicated and quite possibly over the limit. After ascertaining that the patron was in no condition to be driving, Clifford, using his excellent training, tactfully inquired if we might call him a taxi or call a friend or family member to pick him up. The guest, however, did not want a taxi and insisted he was fine. Then, the guest dropped hints that he did not want to leave his car here overnight. Clifford would not give up. Using his charming service skills, he offered to drive the guest home himself in their own car, with one of our delivery drivers following behind, so that they could drive Clifford back to work after the guest was home safely. It worked! The guest took the offer and we got him home safely. This customer has since been back to thank us for being so thoughtful and considerate and admitted that he was in no condition to be driving that night. Thank you, Clifford Ross, for going above and beyond your duties, you are truly deserving of this nomination for SMILE Of The Month.”
