Smoky’s Celebrates National Pizza Month
We kicked off National Pizza Month (October) by teaming up with local dairy farmers to surprise unsuspecting Eagle residents last Friday, October 6. Homes were picked randomly from delivery orders placed from 5pm throughout the evening. When customers opened their front doors they were pleasantly surprised to be greeted by Meridian dairy farmer, Clint Jackson and his 500-pound jersey heifer, “Josie” with their pizza deliveries. What a perfect time to recognize the hard-working dairy farming families in our community! This was a wonderful reminder to our customers where the fresh dairy products we love come from. Smoky’s is proud to use Idaho Cheese exclusively on all of our pizzas. With dough that is made fresh daily and hand-tossed to order, parmesan-baked crust and a three-cheese blend, it’s no wonder our pizza is so delicious!
This event was so successful, Smoky’s and Josie were featured in the December 2018 issue of Pizza Marketing Quarterly. We can’t wait until next year!
